Baker Hughes provides five paid days each calendar year that you can use if you're sick or need time off for personal matters.
Unused days do not carry over to the next year and are forfeited at year-end. However, if state or local laws provide a greater leave entitlement or different requirements, Baker Hughes will comply with all applicable legal requirements, including providing more than five days where required by law.
Yes. Baker Hughes provides Military Leave benefits to support employees who are called to military service or training.
If you are on an approved military leave, Baker Hughes will continue your regular base pay for the first 30 days of leave.
Beginning on day 31 and continuing for up to 180 days, Baker Hughes will provide Military Pay Differential, which is the difference between your regular base pay and your military pay.
During eligible military leave, your benefits will continue for up to 180 days, and you will continue to earn service credit as required under the policy and applicable law.
When you return to work, you will need to re-enroll in your benefits. Baker Hughes will comply with all applicable military leave laws and regulations, including any rights and protections required under federal, state, or local law.
Yes. All Baker Hughes employees are eligible to apply for STD for personal medically necessary reasons. STD will pay 100% of base pay for 8 weeks and 75% for weeks 9-26. There is no requirement to enroll in STD, this coverage is provided at no cost to you.
Yes. All Baker Hughes employees will be provided core LTD benefit of 50% at no cost. There is an option to enroll in 60% or buy up LTD.
Personal leaves of absence can be taken by employees with one year of service who may need to take extended periods of time off to attend to non-medical situations. This time off is unpaid and should not exceed 90 days.
