Annual Enrollment is October 7 – October 18

From October 7 to October 18, you can enroll in or make changes to your Health & Protection benefits for 2025. The benefit elections you make during Annual Enrollment will be effective January 1, 2025. Watch these benefits videos to learn more about your 2025 benefits.

2025 Benefits Changes

These are the changes to your 2025 benefits.

AD&D administrator change

The AD&D administrator is changing from Chubb to Prudential. There is nothing you need to do. Your existing coverage level and beneficiary designations will automatically transfer to Prudential.

Premium HSA plan deductibles

The Premium HSA plan deductibles are increasing to $1,650 for individual coverage and $3,300 for family coverage. This is to comply with IRS regulations.

Health Savings Account (HSA) contribution limit

The HSA contribution limit will increase to $4,300 for individual coverage and $8,550 for family coverage.

Health Care Flexible SpendingAccount (FSA) contribution limit

The Health Care Flexible Spending FSA contribution limit will increase to $3,200.

401(k) Plan new distribution option

As of July 11, 2024, participants can take withdrawals from your 401(k) for recovery from domestic abuse. Call the Baker Hughes Benefits Center at 1-866-244-3539 (US) or 1-847-883-0945 (worldwide) or access your 401(k) account here. Access your Summary Plan Description here.

2025 benefit plan contributions

There will be slight increases to Medical and Dental contributions. You can find your 2025 Medical, Dental, and Vision rates here. You’ll see the rates for your other benefits, including Critical Illness Insurance, the Accident Protection Plan, and the Hospital Indemnity Protection Plan, when you enroll in your benefits.

Hawaii residents only

If you live in Hawaii, there are no changes to your Hawaii Medical and Prescription Drug plans for 2025. There will be a slight increase in Medical contributions. You can find your Medical plan rates and information about your coverage here.

How to Enroll

Follow these instructions to enroll in your 2025 benefits.

If You Don’t Enroll in Health & Protection Benefits

If you don’t enroll in Health & Protection benefits by Friday, October 18, you’ll have the same benefits with the same coverage levels you have today. The exception is that you have to make an active election to contribute to the Health Care FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and/or the Health Savings Account or your account contributions will default to $0 in 2025.

Please note: If you plan to enroll in Medicare while you are actively employed, you will not be eligible to contribute to an HSA.

Annual Enrollment is the time of year to make changes to your Health & Protection Benefits. Unless you experience a Qualified Status Change (like having a baby or getting married), your next opportunity to enroll or make changes to your benefits will be next year during Annual Enrollment.

401(k) Plan

You can review and make changes to your 401(k) anytime during the year. No action is required during Annual Enrollment. Annual Enrollment is a good time to consider contributing at least 5% in order to get the full company match, review your investment allocation, and make sure your beneficiaries are up to date.
