To assist and support new parents with balancing work and family matters, Baker Hughes provides eight weeks of paid leave to all employees (females and males) for the birth or adoption of a child. You are eligible for this benefit after one year of service with Baker Hughes.
For new moms who give birth, PPL starts after her short-term disability leave ends. Short-Term Disability and Paid Parental Leave run concurrently with Family Medical Leave (FMLA) or any state-mandated leaves.

Employees are eligible for a paid leave for jury duty. Your pay and benefits continue while you are on jury duty. You may also keep any payments made by the court for jury duty service. Notify your manager as soon as possible after you receive a notice to report for jury duty. Your manager may ask you to provide a copy of your jury duty summons.
If you are on a military leave, you will receive a pay differential. You can receive 30 days for annual training or voluntary enlistment or 180 days for involuntary or active duty.
